What is an ELOPEMENT?

An elopement is a ceremony planned and attended ONLY by the bridal couple and is often performed in secret. 

What is a MINIMONY?

A minimony is exactly that – a mini ceremony and is a commitment ceremony held in the presence of loved ones to solidify your union, honour the original wedding date or is performed to move forward with legal purposes. A SEQUEL WEDDING follows a MINIMONY at a later date and usually includes a greater celebration with an increased number of guests at attendance. 

What is a MICROWEDDING?

A microwedding is a cross between an elopement and a big, traditional wedding and usually includes a guestlist of up to 50 people (usually close friends and immediate family). 

Setting the scene – imagine you and your partner walking along a pathway surrounded by trees. You come to a clearing in the forest. In the distance you spot a canvas bell tent, loungers,a bali parasol and an outdoor floor seating arrangement all beautifully adorned with the surrounding forest’s fauna.

You take a seat on the soft and comfy cushions and poufs. Perhaps your nearest and dearest arrive to celebrate with you. Perhaps you and your partner celebrate alone. Perhaps there’s takeaway pizza or sushi as the wedding feast. Perhaps you dance under the stars all night long. Perhaps you turn in for the night and make yourselves comfy in the snug warm beds of the glamping tent as you drift off to sleep to the sounds of nature.
